Hammersmith Bridge, built in 1887, one of the world's oldest suspension bridges and the reason it is costing so much to repair. The Grade 2 listed bridge was fully closed in 2020 on public safety grounds after micro fractures were found, it reopened in 2021 to cyclists, pedestrians and for river traffic, in west London, UK
