Laboratory glassware. View of a pipette being held above a test tube (lower centre). The pipette has volumes marked out in millilitres down its side. Also seen is a condenser coil. When used, the condenser is placed in a tube connected to a heated reaction vessel. Cold water flowing through the coil cools and condenses evaporating liquids from the vessel.
