The tinsmithing is toacquaint the student with different metals and fluxes, toenable him to make articles for his use, but chiefly toteach him to repair leaky vessels and to do similarwork about his home. The object of the mechanicaldrawing is to prepare the student to make an intelli-gent sketch and working drawing of any ordinaryobject, and to make a set of plans for a simple house oroutbuilding. A special course in house construction is providedfor students, other than trade students, who are desir-ous of this form of work, and who expect to be helped 56.
