CONCORD, Sgt. Adam Ayer, of the 101st Field Artillery, Massachusetts National Guard, pushes his son Austin during the 2018 Tough Ruck. The Tough Ruck is an elite group of 1,000 military, first responders, and civilians, who ruck miles on the battle roads of the Revolutionary War in honor of fallen service members, police, firefighters and EMTs, while raising money for military families in need.
