Stockton-on-Tees, UK. 27th Sep, 2016. 18th Century Gloucester House a Grade 2 listed building, has been newly converted into offices. The building was thought to have a basement below street level, but during the conversion it was found to have a line of small dwellings with fireplaces, wooden windows and niches for candles, as well as stalls for animals. There are also entrances to several tunnels apparently leading to other parts of town. The owners have been trying unsuccessfully to find information about the dwellings and tunnels.
