1 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 7, 2017) Electronics Technician 2nd Class Loren Stenger, a native of Sacramento, California, assigned to the opperations department of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), mans a M-240B machine gun on a rigid-hull, inflatable boat during a visit, board, search and seizure drill. Pearl Harbor is currently underway, conducting a Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment.
