Six-bolt Bonzano rail joints will be used, togetherwith welded bonds of No. 0000 copper, supplied by the ElectricRailway Improvement Company, of Cleveland, Ohio. About100,000 cypress ties are used. The company is also experiment-ing with 20,000 hard pine ties, seasoned and dipped in carbo-lineum, and with 10,000 creosoted ties. The roadbed is nearly.
