ROTC members march in the 91st anniversary of the Veteran's Day Parade in New York

ROTC members march in the 91st anniversary of the Veteran's Day Parade in New York on Thursday, November 11, 2010. Originally knows as Armistice Day, the holiday memorializes that on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month the guns fell silent in 1918 marking the end of World War I. The holiday has been expanded to include all American soldiers from all wars. (© Richard B. Levine)
