Temple Set to Burn The Temple for Christchurch, an art installation and community mental health project, is set to burn. The all volunteer-built installation will be open to the public from September 1 - 14 at the site of the former Convention Centre and will go up in flames on September 21 at the Motukarara Racecourse. The installation's design is based on the seismic waveforms recorded during the major earthquake on February 22, 2011. It will span 40m by 25m, reaching at its highest point to reflect the magnitude of the quake, and its walls are clad with thinly cut demolition mate
