A dagger for leaders in gold, 1st model 1934., Blade with maker's mark "Paul Weyersberg & Co. Solingen". Gilt quillons and pommel, dark blue leather-covered grip with applied enamelled RLB-emblem. Dark blue leather-covered scabbard with gilt mountings, leather suspension. Length 37 cm. Fine state of preservation with little traces of usage. It comes from a major of the reserve in World War I, and winner of the Bavarian medal for bravery, who coordinated the fire department runs for industrial and military facilities in Augsburg. Cf.
