WHOOPS - The boisterous son drops the meal it nicked from mum. USA: THESE TWO falcons were captured in a tug of war over a half-pound pigeon five-hundred-feet above the Hudson River. An exhilarating image revealed the moment a one-and-a-half-pound falcon mum was seen soaring through the sky at over 50mph with a bloody pigeon in her clutches. Another picture showed the falcon's seven-week-old son attempting to grab the pigeon from his mum?s claws, but she wasn't letting go without a fight. The sequence, which lasted just 15 seconds, was captured along the cliffs of The Palisades, New Jersey, USA by glass store owner and photographer Ray Gilbert (55), from Northern Jersey, New Jersey, USA. @raymondgilbert520
