Marble statue of the Czech heraldic lion jumping over the Slovak heraldic double cross by Czech modernist sculptor Jan Štursa displayed in the permanent exhibition The Story of Prague Castle in the Old Royal Palace (Stary kralovsky palace) in Prague, Czech Republic. The statue was designed as the top of the obelisk devoted to the victims of the First World War by Slovenian architect Joze Plecnik. The statue wasn’t used because the obelisk was broken during the transportation.

The stone for the obelisk however was broken during the transport to Prague so the project was changed and the statue was left unused.
