Destroyed residential blocks in the Saltivka, northern district in Kharkiv. Kharkiv and the surrounding area, due to its proximity to Russia, began to take an active part in the fighting from the day of Russian invasion - 24 February 2022. Russian troops occupied the surrounding villages and attempted to occupy the northern part of the city.
