Haus in der Rue Leopold Das GebŠude Aux Planteurs verdankt seinen Namen zwei originellen lebensgro§en Statuen aus mehrfarbigem Terrakotta auf einem Sockel, die schwarze MŠnner mit nackten Beinen und nacktem Oberkšrper darstellen, die jeweils in einer Hand Tabakpflanzen halten, auf dem Balkon im zweiten Stock. Sie waren das Werk von Michel Decoux. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich heute eine Apotheke. FrŸher war hier ein TabakgeschŠft untergebracht, was die Statuen der Tabakpflanzer im zweiten Stock erklŠrt. *** House in Rue Leopold The Aux Planteurs building owes its name to two original life-size statues in multicoloured terracotta on a pedestal, depicting black men with bare legs and bare torsos, each holding tobacco plants in one hand, on the balcony on the second floor. They were the work of Michel Decoux. There is now a pharmacy on the ground floor. There used to be a tobacco shop here, which explains the statues of tobacco planters on the second floor.
