Cw 6567 Mural in bus shelter Church Street Amble Amble is a small town on the north east coast of Northumbria in North East England. The only public transport is supplied by buses, the railway branch line closing many years ago, but at least there is a nice mural in this bus shelter on Church Street. It was a former mining and fishing town, with most of the signs of the mining having disappeared though there is still a small fishing fleet that works out of the harbour. The town of Amble has been undergoing a renaissance in recent years and is now considered a trendy and fashionable place to live, being recently named by the Sunday Times Newspaper as one of the places to live in 2019.
