The curious dip, F,in the median line or keel in front of the dorsal plane, , is apparently notaccidental (though perhaps the worker has accidentally made it larger in thisimplement than was intended), since we find also in the Norwich test specimen aslight concavity in the cariual line just in front of the dorsal plane {see thefigures in Plates II and III, showing lateral view).
