The abdomen of an infant with Hurler syndrome; a deficiency in the alpha-L-iduronidase enzyme. Apha-L-iduronidase is responsible for the break down of glycosaminoglycans - a component of connective tissues within the body. With the deficiency of this enzyme, the stores of glycosaminoglycan accumulate. This patient is presented with hepatosplenomegaly
