Jonathan Keffer, civilian master of the Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Carson City (T-EPF 7), directs civil service mariners handling lines as the ship departs Rhodes, Greece, Aug. 14, 2018. Carson City is the seventh of nine expeditionary fast transport ships in Military Sealift Command's inventory with a primary mission of providing rapid transport of military equipment and personnel in theater via its 20,000 square foot reconfigurable mission bay area and seating for 312 passengers.
