The flowers, which are of a delicate lilac color, are disposed in a graceful, drooping or hanging manner, in broad, branching panicles. The plant grows about 2 feet high, and has finely divided glaucous- green foliage, which makes it a very attractive plant even when not in bloom. 30 cts. each; $ per doz. bTENANTHIUM. TRITOI^A ERECTA. (Erect-flowering Torch Lily, Flame Flower or Red-hot Poker.) While the distinctive feature of this new variety is that its flowers, unlike all others, are arranged in an erect or upright position on the spike, it is at the same time one of the earliest varieties to bloom, con- tinuing throughout the season, good flowers and buds still being in sight to-day (Nov. 2). In color'it is a deep orange-scarlet, several shades deeper than the popular T. Pfitzerii. 50 cts. each; f per doz. SCABIOSA JAPOXICA. A hardy perennial variety from Japan, forming bushy plants 22- to S et in height, by the same through, and bearing on long, wiry stems beautiful artistic lavender-blue flowers 2 to ^\ inches across. The plants are extremely floriferous, producing a continuous crop jm the end of June until late in autumn. A fine cut flower. 35 cts. each; § per doz. New Brilliant Stone-Crop. (Sedum Spectabile Atropurpurea.) Like the type, this forms an erect, bushy plant about IS inches high, with broad, oval, light green foliage, and producing in September and October gigantic showy heads of deep rosy-crimson flower
