Enormously productive, yielding from 30 to 50 bushels of a plump yellow bean to the acre, and plenty of forage. Plants three to four feet in height; stock fond of it. High authority upon analysis place its feeding value above the Cow Pea. Makes a good table dish. It is said, when parched and ground, that this Bean makes an excellent substitute for Coffee.
