This is a rotational deployment that began in 2013 where Marines support and allied operations within Central Command’s area of responsibility, most notably, coalition operations against ISIS and other terrorist organizations. Upon the completion of her deployment, she will begin training on the new Joint Strike Fighter, the F-35B Lightning II.
