Space Shuttle Endeavour, May 2011. Image of Space Shuttle Endeavour's open cargo bay taken from the International Space Station (ISS), while the shuttle was docked to the ISS. A night-time view of the Earth is seen in the background. This was mission STS-134 (16th May to 1st June 2011), which delivered the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS-02) to the ISS. AMS-02 is a particle detector that will search for dark matter and antimatter. This was Endeavour's final flight. Photographed on 28th May 2011.
