The second ewe herd extends south and west from Relict Slope. This *A11 major geographical features are referred to by local names and names proposed by the writers for convenience. For reference to these names see Figure 1. herd has been designated as the Junction herd, because the bighorn inhabit the area close to the junction of the Chilcotin and Fraser Rivers (Figure 6). The bighorn of the Junction herd appear to be separated into three smaller bands that over- lap in their distribution.
