070303-N-9689V-001 PERSIAN GULF (March 3, 2007) - A series of images was taken aboard USS Boxer (LHD 4) showing the moon during a full lunar eclipse while the ship was conducting operations in the Persian Gulf. The eclipse was fully visible in this portion of the world and only partially visible in the rest of the world. Boxer Expeditionary Strike Group is operating in the Persian Gulf conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in support of 5th Fleet.
