It must be regarded as too fragile foroutdoor cultivation, and would succeed in pansin a cold frame or in the alpine-house. Theleaves are narrowly lanceolate, slightly hispid,clothing a stem C inches high, which bears oneto three flowers, less than an inch in diameter,the petals and sepals of which are pale slipper is very small, generally white, orwith a faint pink flush throughout.
