The Alpensia Resort is a ski resort and a tourist attraction. It is located on the territory of the township of Daegwallyeong-myeon, in the county of Pyeongchang, hosting the Winter Olympics in February 2018. The ski resort is approximately hours from Seoul or Incheon Airport by car, predominantly all motorway. Alpensia has six slopes for skiing and snowboarding, with runs up to km ( mi) long, for beginners
