19th century merchants house. A small house in Italian style was built in 1873 by Axel and Hjalmar Kumlien. In 1898 cork magnate Hjalmar Wicander commissioned architect Carl Moller to remodel the house in Baroque Revival style with an Art Nouveau décor. In 1940 the villa was donated to the Nordic Museum Foundation and today it is a national monument.
