The crown is supplied with four (in triradiate plates three) long spiny arms. In the tube-feet there are "reduced tables" (textfig. 8 4). It seems at first sight that the present specimen may represent a new species, but the large plates resemble so closely those of M. cathedralis Heding, that I am convinced that it is a juvenile specimen of this latter.
