Anti-fracking protesters attempt to slow walk a lorry out of the cuadrilla shale gas fracking site near Blackpool with police and site security in attendance. Mammoet informed protesters that they will no longer deliver to fracking sites for environmental reasons. Protest held each working day outside Cuadrillas shale gas fracking site on Preston New Road, Little Plumpton near Blackpool where Cuadrilla intend to frack for shale gas. Protests are held each day in an effort to prevent Cuadrilla from fracking as protesters believe the process may cause earthquakes, which happened when Cuadrilla fracked at Preese Hall when Cuadrilla caused an earthquake of magnitude. The protesters also fear the process may pollute the land, air and aquifers.
