Emmerson memorial window "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!" - Luke 12:49. This window shows Christ bringing fire - the symbol of His Holy Spirit - to the earth. Installed in 2005 in memory of Jean Emmerson and donated by her husband, this window in Ripon Cathedral continues a wonderful tradition of commissioning works of art for churches in memory of loved ones.
