Meanwhile the facts remain as Ihave recorded them, and every modification must bethe result of more facts. And I shall probably continueto watch animals for myself and believe my own eyesand ears rather than listen to the voice of authority inthese matters ; for otherwise of what use is it eitherto watch or write.
