A Marine wounded in the left leg is being brought in by a Medical-Evacuation helicopter aboard the USS IWO JIMA on August 19, 1966. The photo was taken as part of Operation DE CKEOUS III-A by photographer Set CO2HRAN. The Marine is immediately taken to sick bay for treatment.
