Discussion will center on catfish, crawfish, shrimp, hybrid striped bass, mountain trout and tila- pia. Participants also will tour aquacul- ture sites in Pitt County. Sea Grant Director Copeland will lead a panel on future research needs for the aquaculture industry. And Associate Sea Grant Director Ron Hodson will describe the potential for the hybrid striped bass. Other featured speakers for the con- ference include Richard Lord of New York's Fulton Fish Market, the largest wholesale seafood market in the United States; Larry Delabretonne, a Louisiana State University extension specialist on crawfish production; and Peter Redmayne, editor of Seafood Leader magazine. The conference is sponsored by the Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society, Agribusi- ness Council, Small Business and Technology Center, State Uni- versity College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the Department of Agriculture.
