Thaxted Essex England UK_Engine House and Church_Photographed by Brian Harris_July 2021 The Engine House, probably 20th century, housed an old fire engine dating from William IV and is,, now displayed in the Windmill Museum. The Fire Station operated until the 1930’s. The Engine House was restored in 2020-21 and is now part of a private home but has been fully restored.
