Naval battle of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, (Costa Brava, Catalonia). The presence of the French fleet was a constant threat to the port of Barcelona. On the night of 3 and 4 September 1285, Roger de Lauria (1245-1305) took part in a battle in the waters of Sant Feliu de Guixols, defeating the French fleet. Engraving by Serra Pausas.
