Jacob Wiese had on sale last week a fine lot of plants, such as primulas, Boston ferns, begonias, hydrangeas and cinerarias. Mignonette, Japanese lilies, snapdragons, yellow marguerites, sweet peas and Victorias were in excellent condition. H. Keitsch & Son have sold their greenhouse property and have had the conservatories torn down. They now buy all their stock. They were busy with funeral work last week and report business growing steadily. E. C. A. BOSTON. The Market. The cut flower outlook a few days before Easter is encouraging. No fancy prices are looked for, but a large busi- ness at moderate prices is assured. Business last week held up well. Violets are advancing and will probably average $1 per hundred for Easter. Singles are nearing the end. For these it has been an unprofitable season. Doubles are in heavy crop. Of sweet peas there is and will be an abun- dance. Trade for these has dragged of late. Yellow marguerites sell well, but the ca^l for white is poorer. Double. S. A.
