Witcham near Ely Cambridgeshire UK 12th July 2014. Ian Ashmead a former World Champion competes at the 44th World Pea Shooting Championships. The quirky event has been running since 1971 and raises funds for the village hall. The peashooter may be made of any material but must not exceed 12 inches in length and may include sighting devices. Peashooters vary from plain tubes to high-tech laser sighted devices.
