Skin smooth, or with small flat marks on the upper surfaces. Erownish or olive above, with dark light-edged spots, sometimes confluent into broad longitudinal bands along the head and back ; sometimes three light longitudinal dorsal stripes. Male without vocal sac; during the breeding-season there are black rugosities on the chin, on the inner metacarpal tubercle, on the inner digit, and on the free border of the web between the toes. S.
