Fresco, St Mary's Chapel, Eton College, Berkshire, 1983. A scene from the 15th century fresco on the south wall of the chapel. The paintings in Eton College Chapel were completed over the course of eight years between 1479 and 1487. The paintings were covered over in 1560 following the Reformation but were re-discovered in 1847. However, it was not until 1923 that they were cleaned and restored.
