Model of a Capstan, Model of a capstan on a wooden floor. It is a capstan for eight wind trees and has four catches in the foot against the decline. The drum has four 'Brown's cleats': these are fairly thin molars, widening and thickening above and below and provided with metal reinforcement. The king, who is stuck in the floor with a square foot and around which the drum revolves, is made of brass and is secured under the cover plates of the head with a nut, the floor has been considerably reinforced.
