Staff members of the Beaufort-Jasper YMCA of the Lowcountry, award Marine Corps Lt. Col. Jose L. Montalvan, the district regional operations officer for 6th Marine Corps District, during their annual meeting held in Beaufort, South Carolina, Feb. 24, 2022. Montalvan volunteered for approximately 200 hours as the sports coach for the 3-4 year-old soccer league and the 7-8 year-old soccer-league.
