Bruce T. Abbott, who served with the 88th Infantry Division during World War II as a mortarman, was recognized for his service during WWII at the 88th Regional Support Command’s centennial anniversary at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin on Aug. 19, 2017. Abbot had a canteen cup with him, etched with the name of every location he had been stationed throughout his military career. The names covered from the continental and across the seas.
