Monument to the wooden top in Sant Hilari Sacalm in the region of La Selva province of Gerona,Catalonia,Spain

It is a monumental wooden spinning top five meters high, made by the artisans of the town's lathe for the Fira Fusta in 2007. It weighs tons and is almost 5 meters high. During its manufacture, a total of 15 liters of anti-humidity glue and a total of 50 kilograms of water-based varnish were used. In addition, it is made in such a way that it can always be moved. Sant Hilari de Sacalm, the town of a hundred springs, is known for its water heritage: its waters supply some of the most prestigious mineral water brands, attracted by its medicinal properties. These sources are precisely the destination of many of the numerous natural routes that run through the term, and that are an unavoidable attraction. Among its secret caves and granite mountains, the famous bandit Serrallonga was hiding, to whom the town annually dedicates the festival ¡Vuelve Serrallonga!, which every September dresses the term of baroque and banditry. Also important is the Living Via Crucis, a tradition with more than three hundred years of history that has been declared of National Tourist Interest.
