The Hatch act provides that bulletins of reports of prog-ress shall be published at least once in three months, one copyof which shall be sent to each newspaper in the state or terri-tory in which they are respectively located, and to such indi-viduals actually engaged in farming as may request the same,and as far as the means of the Station will permit. The pub-lications of the Station include annual reports, bulletins, andpress bulletins. Since 1889 the annual reports contain no details of experi-ments, but simply outlines of the work of the year in generalin the several departments, and including the financial state-ments required by law. These annual reports, not being ofgeneral interest, therefore, are printed in but small numbers,and sent to libraries and officials only, except on special re-quest. 32 Kansas State Agricultural Auditorium.
