Magnificent Jan Hus Monument and picturesque Church of our Lady Before Týn, The Old Town Square, Prague, Czech Republic.
In the foreground is the Jan Hus Monument by sculptor Ladislav Saloun, which was unveiled in 1915 on the 500th anniversary of the burning of Jan Hus for heresy. Beyond rises the west facade of the Church of our Lady Before Týn. Work on the present structure commenced in 1365. It became the main Prague church of the Hussites, followers of Jan Hus until 1621.
