She is the current British champion over this distance, winning both the 2007 and 2009 British Championships, however she finished 3rd in the 2008 Championships, behind Marilyn Okoro and Jenny Meadows Jennifer Brenda "Jenny" Meadows (born 17 April 1981 in Wigan) is a British athlete. Her main event is the 800m, however she previously competed over the 400m. She is the third fastest British woman over 800m, behind Kelly Holmes and Kirsty Wade. She won the bronze medal in the 800m at the IAAF World Championships in Berlin 2009 with a a PB of .
