Chamonix, France. 19th February, 2016. Alexis Pinterault is overcome with emotion at the finish of the Downhill part of the race as he took 1st place in the Men's Alpine Combined in Chamonix. The Men's Alpine Combined event (downhill and slalom) ended with the downhill section of the race last due to weather conditions (heavy snow) earlier in Chamonix. The race began at on a shortened course after a further hour of delay. The podium was - 1- PINTURAULT Alexis (FRA) 2 2- PARIS Dominik (ITA) 2 3-MERMILLOD BLONDIN Thomas (FRA) 2:13.
