When the consolidatedLynn & Boston system wasformed in 1892, Mr. Page againentered the employ of this com-pany and was made division siiperintendent of the Salem divi-sion, which office he held until August, 1900, when he became gen-eral superintendent of the entire property. MR. ALLAN L. MDERMOTT succeeded Mr. F. C. Stevens aspresident of the Washington (D. C.) Traction & Electric Co. whenthe latter resigned last month. Mr. J. J. Coleman, general man-ager, resigned at the same time as Mr. Stevens, and was succeededby Mr. H. W. Fuller. MR. P. C. DUGAN has been appointed head of the law depart-ment of the United Traction Co., of Troy, N. Y., which depart-ment has just been created by the directors of the company. will have charge of all accident cases on the road, and thesettlement of claims, etc. MR. JOHN N. AKARMAN, formerly superintendent of theConsolidated Street Railway, Worcester, Mass., was given a sur-prise last month by his former employes
