Ptolemaeus trio of lunar craters. From top (diameters in brackets) this trio of lunar craters are: Ptolemaeus (153 kilometres), Alphonsus (119 kilometres), and Arzachel (96 kilometres). These impact craters are near the centre of the visible nearside of the Moon. Arzachel is the youngest of the three craters, with a central peak that is around kilometres in height. This image, taken from Souni, Cyprus, with a 356mm reflector, was obtained on 18 April 2013.
