General colour above bluish grey, brighter round the hinder neck and on the sides of the latter; wings more decidedly blue than the back, with a slight shade of greyish purple, especially on the innermost secondaries, which are also decidedly shaded with cobalt on the inner webs, the rest of the quills brownish on their inner.
